Sheracote

Sheracote a Bodycote trademarked process,  is a combination of traditional sherardizing and a completly new specialised trivalent chrome passivate threatment, which will consistantly achieve 1000 hrs in neutral salt spray test to ASTM B1117 or DIN 50 5021.

The Sheracote coating has undergone extensive testing in our own laboratory and also at an independent NAMAS approved laboratory.

Further conclusive testing has been carried out by selected passes to red corrosion in excess of 1000 hrs.
